Nanjing Plum Blossom Hill, Meihua Shan

Plum Blossom Hill is located in the south of Zhongshan Gate, which get its fame from its beautiful Plum Blossoms. Plum Blossom Hill is now one of the eight best places for enjoying the plum blossom in China. It is also called Sun Mausoleum Hill as it is the tomb of Sun Quan, King of Dong Wu. There are plum trees all over the hill. The international Plum Blossom Festival of Nanjing is held in the early spring every year. The annual International Plum Blossom Festival held in Plum Blossom Hill, the largest Plum collection in China, attracts thousands of tourists both domestic and all over the world.

Nanjing Zhenghe’s Grave, Zhenghe Mu

Zhenghe is a Chinese navigator and diplomat during the Ming Dynasty (1371–1433 AD). Zhenghe’s Grave is located at south foothill of Niushou Mountain, Jiangning County of Nanjing. It is situated on a secluded small hillside which is serene, quiet and with beautiful scenery. His grave was once destroyed in the past. But it was rebuilt in 1985.

Nanjing Zhengqi Pavilion, Zhengqi Ting

Zhengqi Pavilion is located on the east bank of Zixia Lake, in front of the Zixia Cave, situated between Sun Yatsen Mausoleum and Ming Xiao Tomb. The pavilion is the side pavilion, with double-eave roof angles, the top covered with blue glazed tile, the Suzhou granite foundation, and scarlet column, colored drawings on pottery top-beam, resplendent in gold and jade green.

Nanjing Qixia Temple, Qixia Si

The Qixia Temple sits in Qixia Town, 22 kilometers northwest of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. The dagoba stands to the right of Dafu Pavilion in the Qixia Temple at the western foot of Qixia Mountain. The Qixia Temple is one of the most famous old temples in southern China. It was built in 489 and expanded in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). As the biggest temple in the south, the Qixia Temple was listed as one of the four Buddhist monasteries along with the Lingyan Temple in Linqing, Shandong Province; the Yuquan Temple in Jingzhou, Hubei Province; and the Guoqing Temple in Tiantai, Zhejiang Province. It regained its name in 1392 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The temple was burnt down during Emperor Xianfeng’s reign and most of the present wooden structures were restored during and after the reign of Emperor Guangxu.

Nanjing Plum garden new village

Plum garden new village is located at end Ludong, Nanjing, Jiangsu. It was the Chinese Communist Party important leaders’ work place since 3 May 1946. It was restored according to the original condition in 956 years and awarded as the revolutionary memorial hall. It exhibits related cultural relics, massive picture materials and partial first level of the building is turned into “the plum garden wind and cloud” where recordings of historical events is the primarily issue. Partial of second level exhibits picture articles. The second level exhibition halls demonstrated the revolutionary cultural relic primarily. In the exhibition hall lay three modern equipments of material inquiry system — computers touch screen, convenience for the audience to further understand material and literature concerning the Kuomintang and Communist Parties under Nanjing negotiation and to strengthen audience’s participation in the issue. Nanjing Zijin Mountain Scenic Area, Zijinshan Fengjingqu

Zijin Mountain Scenic Area (Zijinshan Fengjingqu) is located in the eastern suburb of Nanjing. The scenic area occupied an area of 31 square kilometers.

Nanjing Zhongshan Botanical Garden, Zhongshan Zhiwuyuan

Zhongshan botanical garden is located on the south foothill of Mt. Zhongshan, to the east it meets the bright mausoleum and is one of Zhongshan Cemetary’s memento constructions. This garden occupies 187 hectares, collected and cultivated as many as 3,000 types of plants altogether and is one of the four key botanical gardens in China.

Nanjing Pillar Mountain Stone Column forest

The pillar mountain stone column forest occupies an approximate area of 13.3 hectares and is located northeast of Luhe County. Each of the stone column root’s diameters is approximately 40 – 60 centimeters, the height 20 – 30 meters. The transverse cutting of the hexagon delivers irregularities to a person, the pentagon and so on. Nanjing Red Mountain Forest Zoo

The red mountain forest zoo is located at a pavilion built over a well, northeast of Nanjing. The area occupied amounting to 83 hectares. In the garden are ranges of jade green mountains, wild and raised animals unified and the increase of many thrilling interesting animals performances, presents a city forest zoo with unique style. The red mountain forest zoo has formed a certain superior animal population, the breeds reaches as many as 200 types like the Dongbei tiger, kangaroo, river deer, little panda, peacock, lion and so on. In the garden are rare and precious protected animals like the white tiger, the Asian elephant, the panda, the seal, the chimpanzee, the black swan, the red-crowned crane and so on.
