Hengdian Film and TV Production Base, located in Dongyang County of Jinhua City, is regarded as East Hollywood. Constructed in 1996, many world renowned Chinese movies have been filmed here, including the blockbuster Hero. In total, there have been 143 films and 2,872 TV series filmed at the Hengdian Production Base.
The whole Base, covering over 2,400,000 square meters, has been separated into 12 areas, including Guangzhou Street which look like the streets in Guangzhou City and Jiangnan Street which has the appearance of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces. Films portraying the Han Dynasty (206 BC- 220 AD) time period or even TV series of a story happening in the early 20th century can also find a matching place for production here at the Hengdian Production Base.
Besides these areas, almost all scenes from Chinese history can be found in this Base. As a result, many different TV series and films can find a good production location here.

Luo Binwang Tomb is located in the Fengtang Village (Fengtang Cun), 15 kilometers from Yiwu city of Zhejiang province. People built this tomb in the Ming Dynasty (1640) in memory of the famous Tang Dynasty poet Luo Bingwang. He was one of the Four Outstanding Poets in early Tang Dynasty (from about 618-630). The poet once wrote a poem “Yong’e (Ode to the Goose)”, when he was seven years old. There is a torii imitated form Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD) at the entrance. The whole tomb area is built along the experience of Luo Binwang with natural hill and water. It consists of 6 scenic spots, such as Jinjie Xuhuai Natural Park, Yong’e Scenic Zone, Fengxiao Shuihan Lake, Cloudy House and Yunlin Lodging. After visiting the whole area, tourists can experience the literary or artistic talent and the noble life of Luo Binwang.

Located at the center of Zhejiang Province, the modern city of Yiwu is known to all as the largest small commodities market in Asia, and is visited daily by thousands of traders. But it’s also a great place for tourists to visit, with its numerous historic places of interest, and of course, its shopping facilities.
The Tomb of Luo Binwang, a great Tang Dynasty Poet is one of the city’s most popular sights. Born in Yiwu in 619AD, Luo Binwang is regarded as one of the best literary geniuses of his day. He started writing poems at the age of seven, and most Chinese people today, young or old, can recite his best-known work, “Goose,” by heart.
The Memorial Hall of Qijiajun – Qijiguang attracts people from all over Asia and indeed the world to pay their respects to the legendary General Qijiajun. He was a Chinese military hero of the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644) who helped to save his country from Japanese invaders. The memorial hall exhibits some rare and valuable items that belonged to the respected general.
Yiwu is a shopper’s paradise – the city is bursting with markets small and large. Tourists have been known to lose all sense of time while browsing through the commodity-packed stalls and shops. Every product under the sun can be found somewhere in the city, and at very reasonable prices.
Yiwu is famed for its tasty snacks like Donghe Roubing (Donghe Meat Pie) and Yiting Hand-pulled Noodles (Yiting Lamian). Donghe Roubing consists of two pancakes with a pork and chive filling. Yiting Hand-pulled Noodles are eaten with mare than 10 other delicious ingredients. Yiwu is also called the “Hometown of Brown Sugar.” It produces the best quality brown sugar in the country, which is widely made into a cold remedy, or a drink to warm the stomach.
