Hangzhou Nine Streams and Eighteen Gullys, Jiuxi Shibajian
Nine Streams and Eighteen Gullys (Jiuxi Shibajian) are located on the south side of Longjing. It is 10 kilometers from the West Lake. The length of the area spans 6 kilometers. The mountain is deep and the forest is flourishing, the winding peaks twining and turning. It mirrors a picture of the brook, water, tree and scenery.
Its origins from Yang Jiawu, converges 9 rivulets to the Nine Streams and then passes through the Xu village and flow into Qiantang River. The Eighteen Gullys are in the southwest of the smoke rosy cloud cave; the origin is from Longjing village, circling the forest foothill and converge many rivulets to become the gully, hence Nine Streams and Eighteen Gullys (Jiuxi Shibajian) acquire fame.
