Suzhou Lingyan Pagoda, Lingyan Ta

Lingyan Pagoda, also known as Yongzuo Pagoda, stood at the Lingyan Temple that is 15km southwest of Suzhou. It is a brick pagoda built in 503 AD. It was destroyed by thunder in the late Ming Dynasty. The current brick pagoda was rebuilt in 750AD. It is a 7-storey pagoda with eight angles, with poses of the Song Dynasty (960-1279) carved on the walls.
