It stands not far from the Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The building stands at a height of 420.5m. It has 88 floors above ground and three floors under the ground and is the tallest building in China and currently, the third tallest building in the world.

The observation deck on the 88th floor offers the kind of views you normally only get from an airplane. The elevators in the Jinmao Tower move at 9.1m per second: it only takes 45 seconds to reach the 88th floor. Standing on the 88th floor, you can take in the breathtaking scenery of the whole city.
